Delaware Dems busting on Trump needs to clean their own house !

Complaint filed to uncover Gov. Carney’s hidden Rodney Square bus hub emails , Delaware News Journal Published 6:00 a.m. ET July 26, 2018

The Coalition to Keep Bus Service on Rodney Square filed a complaint this week asking the Department of Justice to step in and order the emails be uncovered.

“Governor Carney’s action in blacking out over 100 pages of emails regarding bus stops at Rodney Square does not promote governmental transparency, does not inform the electorate and deprives the public the ability to observe and monitor the decisions made by the Governor … ” the coalition wrote in an email on Monday.

The letter was signed by over 55 advocates including state Rep. John Kowalko; New Castle County Recorder of Deeds Michael Kozikowski; Paula A Maiorano, chair of the Coalition to Dismantle the New Jim Crow DE; members of the Delaware Coalition for Open Government, and others.

As many Democratic elected officials spin their wheels about their dislike of President Trump their own responsibilities to Delawareans takes a backseat. Not joining Rep. Kowalko demanding Governor Carney to open his E-mails demonstrates democrats only want transparency to apply to republicans.

I appreciate being on the side of the public and good government on this issue but I support my colleagues dislike for President Trump. I still despise Trump’s attitude and hateful rhetoric. His international policy pronouncements and dealings may lead directly to a rendering of the economic fabric of America and the global stability of the world. His willingness to use/abuse his office to promote schisms throughout American society pitting Americans against Americans, fomenting a false nationalistic resentment toward others is a foul debasement of true American patriotism and further obscures his own personal failings. So thank you Kilroy for your tacit support of this issue but please do not let it distract from Trump’s well-earned resentment among my peers.

  2. Dear John,
“I appreciate being on the side of the public and good government …”
Errr, arrgh, cough, snort, chortle, snifff….. sorry I just swallowed my gum.
In repeated ventings here and elsewhere you have clearly displayed your contradictory position to the claim above. You only appreciate being on the side of the public when it is the side that appreciates dysfunction and social justice redistribution. The side of the public that wants effective representation is unfortunately unable to extract you from their arses not unlike a boil.

In terms of good government, we haven’t seen that in DE since the democrats have been in office. You’ve all been scratching each other’s backs for so long, Delawareans don’t know what good government looks like. You my friend, are even worse as you are a pariah even to your fellow democrats. You are not only an irritant to conservative Delawarean taxpayers, you’re an irritant to you’re fellow democrats’ agenda. I should applaud the latter but your …willingness to use/abuse your office to promote schisms throughout Delawarean society, pitting Delawareans against Delawareans, fomenting a false class warfare resentment to deflect away the obvious governmental ineffectiveness is a foul debasement of true American patriotism and is simply an attempt to further obscure your own personal disorder.

Please refer to the miraculous device in your bathroom, and sometimes found in other parts of your home that displays an ironic image. It is called a mirror. The description of aspersions you cast at Trump are not too far off the mark from the individual whose image can be found in your mirrors. Your attitude and hateful rhetoric toward those who disagree with you has most assuredly mirrored that which you condemn in Trump. Sorry to burst your bubble but pot, meet kettle.
