Here is what Delaware Governor John Carney can do to better protect students and staff from gun violence and more

Though we encourage our children to report other students who are in possession of weapons or make threats of violence to  school staff. But we must realize the retaliation for being a snitch.  Snitches get stitches is real.

We need a special 1-800 # for student to anonymously report others who pose such threats. We need to protect the identity of students and parents who might call the 1-800#

I go back and forth on whether or not allow designated school staff to carry concealed firearms. However, it might be the time to explore this option with providing those staff with intense training.

My friends on the right my disagree but; In Delaware a person can be 18 years old to purchase a rifle or shotgun and 21 years old to purchase a handgun. I think its time to change that 18 to 21. I understand there are young hunters. However, they can use a rife or shot gun in the presents and provided by someone 21 years or older as do kids under the age of 18. Yea yea , I know, old enough to fight in a war old enough to own a gun. If that were the case then why no bitch on hand gun re: 21 years old? AND we must hold adult accountable for leaving their guns accessible to their children by not keeping them locked up.

  1. What does it say about a society that can track a package from Amazon but can not tell where students are located or screen out non students. We do not even have up to date ID photos on file in ESChool the State attendance program, let along current ID badges. Why not automatic badges that mark them on and off buses? The answer is funding, we really care about our packages.
