AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 11 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO OFFENSES RELATED TO CHILDREN.

Original Synopsis:

Although minors are prohibited from purchasing tobacco, it is not technically illegal for a minor to possess or consume tobacco. This bill will make the possession, use, or consumption of tobacco by a minor unlawful and subject to the same penalties as a person under 18 who purchases a tobacco product.

  1. This law has one intention and one intention only – to facilitate “stop and frisk” of minors. But, hey, on the plus side, vaping will still be legal for them as you can actually have and possess 0% nicotine in vape juice. Unless that’s in the long bill that I didn’t have time to read.
