Should students spy on their teacher?

All our children are now FBI terrorism suspects; Thomas S. Neuberger / News Journal

In January, the FBI announced that it wants to make every high school teacher, administrator and student in America a spy, and report to it, or local state police, suspicious words or activity by any teenager attending our schools.

I wonder what the profile would be for the likely type of student being re: terrorist, Charter school kids 😉

Perhaps students should spy ob teachers ? Hey kids get those cell phone videos rolling!

The legions of kavips are consistent if not adept at the common practice of all dictatorial practitioners (or in this case, wannabes) — that being making loud accusations that the other side is doing what they, the dictatorially inclined, are, in fact, doing, or aspiring to do. Where the legions fail by margin, is that the more adept at this propaganda technique usually employ just a bit of subtlety. The legions of kavips risk their own undoing with such transparently bold exclamations.

Your sophomoric comment aside, I have noticed quite a few articles in the newspaper recently about teachers in our public school system who are grossly misbehaving in this area. Why is it that no one is calling for a top-to-bottom review of hiring practices? Profiling. Calling our suspect humorous leers or creepy social media activity. Why can’t Fred’s Union police its own team? Or is this just another “catholic” head-in-the-sand attitude? Just saying.

“Why can’t Fred’s Union police its own team?”

First of all, that’s “the” Fred to you.

Second, setting aside the obvious rhetorical nature of the question, it should be food for thought for all the TPS zealots, govt leviathan supporters, those who look the other way at the horrific reality of the teacher’s union/elected elite axis of evil, you know, that whole lot. The Fred is regularly a presenter at some govt schooling (not education) propaganda event or other, putting a smiling (not happy) face on the ugliness of the union (think the character Bug in the skin and coveralls of the good ol’ boy farmer in Men In Black), playing the lullaby like a good soldier, and acting as an honest to goodness caring member of the village. It’s a very good question. It’s a shame one of her friends like Angos or Kilroy won’t ask on behalf of all us SUCKERS (h/t M).
