Yep. And the next generation Ford Explorer will have a drive train developed by the collaborative efforts of a group limited to members of the auto worker’s union (spelled off occasionally by trainees and probationary members) ; the engineers will by necessity step aside and hush.

Rigor: “the quality of being extremely thorough”. I’m not sure we should eliminate rigor, thereby seeking to be something less than thorough.

If all of this Red Clay Rigor is bad, they why are people so “thoroughly” persistent in choosing Red Clay schools? Inquiring minds want to know.

Sure. They taught us that independent thought was a virtue, that cussing was vulgar, and that inappropriate reference to tragedies of the Second World War was disrespectful to our fathers and uncles and to their friends who never returned. And that was just in the 20 minutes per day devoted to manners. We moved on to The Three R’s after that.

At the risk of the ensuing explosion cracking your skull further, Angos, how ’bout this? At kindergarten age, I learned where I should have been learning, at home. Not MMMMatthews nor any of his dues payers should be within a country mile of a 5 year old save their own, let alone 4 year olds, 3 year olds, 2 year olds, 1 year olds, and, God help us, infants.

Step back, Angos, again, I implore you, leave the ts uncrossed and is undotted; look at the forest, not the trees. The premise is wrong. Say that aloud, I dunno, 45 times? The premise is wrong. And you wonder why it keeps getting worse? Put your energy to something productive. Like getting government out of our kids’ heads.

DIBEL their own students. Indeed. 5 years old. Guess what? I’ve got a DIBEL for you and your ilk right here MMMMatthews. You may need a substitute sure ‘nough once it’s administered.
