DE AG Denn looking more like a governor each day. RE: School bullying

Denn calls for more consistency in schools’ reporting of bullying By Tom Lehman /WDEL

“Schools in Delaware do not consistently report bullying incidents and the process used to gather evidence in those cases needs to be reformed, according to a report released by state Attorney General Matt Denn on Friday.”

“In the report, Denn (D) said procedures used to investigate and collect evidence in bullying cases needs to be improved because school districts and charter schools are not reporting them in a consistent manner.”

All I can say is, parents need to call the police when their child is physically bullied or threaten with bodily-harm. Parents are manipulated in thinking they need to follow school procedure! They don’t! Parents call the police and report the incident and you don’t have to press charges. Get the incident on police file!

Our state legislators should draft legislation making it criminal offense for school /district staff who falsifies school “incident reports”.

Not, conditions causing bullying must be addressed, not, not, not … BUT, ‘reporting DATA is inconsistent.’

Data Denn, Matt Data. Acting live a governor, yep. Data. State control of Timmy in middle school x in south central somewhere in DE pushing Sally in the lunchroom and taking her Frito’s, er, apple slices, making it a multi-level long lasting production, in lieu of asst. principal Fred fixing it on the spot and moving on to the carpet stain in the lobby. Who can’t want that?
