School board selects Montana candidate Zorn as Longview superintendent By Lauren Kronebusch /TDN.Com
Without public discussion, the Longview School Board on Monday night unanimously voted to chose Daniel Zorn to be its next superintendent.
Zorn has been assistant superintendent of Kalispell Public Schools in northwest Montana for 16 years.
The district still has to negotiate Zorn’s salary and benefits, but Zorn said by phone Monday that he accepted the employment offer.
“I’m coming to Longview, and I couldn’t be happier about it,” he said. “I’m looking forward to the challenge and the opportunity. I was real impressed with the people in Longview. When I left last week, that kept coming back to me.
Well it looks like Hugh needs to call Brooks Brothers to put a hold on those superintendent clothes. Merv ain’t going nowhere! Stuck with Kilroy :). Sorry for your loss Merv but you still have Kilroy.
