AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 14 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATED TO EDUCATION.

Synopsis of Orginal Bill:

(without Amendments)

This bill provides for the transition of the statewide student assessment system, the Delaware Comprehensive Student Assessment (DCAS), to the Smarter Balanced Assessment System (Smarter). Specifically, the bill removes references to multiple assessments.

Folks many of us are watching which legislators is voting in support of H.B.#334. A yes vote for this legislation will be a no vote at the polls come November 2014. Looks like Hudson and Longhurst will have company rocking on the front porch!

  1. I really hope this dies a horrible death in Legislative Hall. Delaware will be the last man standing with this idiotic common core and smarter balance testing. I think this whole education “reform” will make or break a lot of political careers.
