Did parents, school boards or legislators have say in this ? Nope ! Everybody will have Kool-aid piped up their asses!

  1. another boondoggle

DSTP, NWEA (MAPS), DCAS and now this. Continues to be a money grab. Meanwhile kids in lowest performing schools continue to get used and abused while the moneymakers do what they do best…MAKE MONEY. Oh and teachers in ELA and math are being evaluated by the outgoing test.
Let me ask this imagine if you are a lower performing middle school kid and they sit you in front of a computer for a 2 hour test reading passage after passage and answering question after question. Is there any chance you would get a bit bored and start marking any old answer? I believe the answer is yes. ‘They’ continue to treat kids as data and teachers as slaves.
Having a passion for teaching, helping kids, helping kids connect and be better is not what its all about… today its about data, money and adults who have never worked with kids make decisions.
Momma don’t let your kid grow up to be a teacher!
