IL Gov. Quinn calling for Mandatory school drills for shooter scenario

CHICAGO (CBS) – Gov. Pat Quinn has called for all of the state’s schools to hold annual drills to help students prepare for the possibility of a school shooting. Read entire article here……………….. 

I’m not in favor of such a drill but do support training building staff as to the procedure when a school lock-down is ordered. I think there should be an honest discussion with students about events like this and what the plan is when a school lock-down is order. But to go through the motion as drills I’m against it.
