Excerpts: Education Secretary Arne Duncan

WSJ: In your Friday [Oct. 16] speech before the National Association of State Boards of Education, part of the message is to allay fears that the federal government may wade too deeply into local school matters. What’s the gist of your message?

Mr. Duncan: We want to better define the federal role. When schools are doing really well, we want to get out of the way. When they are really struggling, we want to support them. President Lyndon Johnson talked about the federal role as being a partner. I want to be a good partner, but not a silent partner.

Dipshit Duncan the federal government’s role in state’s affairs was established on the battle field of the American Revolution. Also, the role of your job and the that of the United States Department of Education has been established when congress established USDOE.  Arne you were not elected and politically appointed and it was politics that got you the job with John Roger and Obama.

 WSJ: The national American Federation of Teachers got pretty heavily involved in the New Haven deal. What does that say about the national unions?

Mr. Duncan: This shows real courage on the union’s part. These are uncharted waters. This is new territory. What you had, you didn’t have any drama. This shows what can happen when adult egos are checked and when adult issues are put aside.

The only new territory found in the teacher’s union is new depths Washington found in their asses. No Arne this shows how by give you billion of dollars of discretionary funding unlike any secretary of education before you how the federal government can buy the states from the governors. If Delaware’s teacher’s union had any courage or real concern for public education they would boycott your visit to Delaware. Governor Jack Markell will bring his knee pads and I am sure he’ll satisfy your perverted adult ego. Maybe you can bring your sick friend Jennings in to tell the boys and girls a bedtime story. 

I give their leadership real credit for having the courage to move out of their comfort zones.

Yea and when enough of them are out in the open field you slaughter them like Nazi guards at the concentration camps and you bait is money. Jack Markell is an agent of the business roundtable who will help you sweet talk the DSEA shepherds to bring their clueless DSEA sheep members out in the open field. DSEA members, big deal you’ll vote Markell out in 2012 but the slaughter will be underway. What happens after the two year stimulus money runs out? How may teachers will be bumped by TFA?
